Earlier today the Green Bay Packers football team defeated the Chicago Bears 21-14 for the NFC championship and made it into the 2011 Super Bowl, later in the day the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the New York Jets 24-19 — winning the AFC championship and advancing to Super Bowl 45.
The Green Bay Packers is led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers is led by Ben Roethlisberger. This will be the first Super Bowl appearance by Aaron Rodgers and the third Super Bowl for Ben Roethlisberger. This will be the 8th appearance in the Super Bowl by the Steelers Franchise, tying the Dallas Cowboys for most Super Bowl Appearances.
The 45th Annual NFL Super Bowl will be held at the new Dallas Cowboys football stadium on Sunday February 6, 2011 and broadcast live by FOX TV and also in HD (High Definition).
