Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions and former foe of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. made a confident prediction through his Twitter account should the two ever face off in the boxing ring.
“There is no doubt in my mind Mayweather beats Paquiao. Styles make fights,” Tweeted Oscar De La Hoya.
Perhaps there is no better person to ask on who’ll win the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather super fight than someone like Oscar De La Hoya who has fought both fighters in the ring and can give a first hand account of the two fighters abilities.
“You see Manny is fast but Mayweather’s timing is key,” said De La Hoya.
Oscar suffered the worst beating of his career a TKO loss against Manny Pacquiao and lost a split decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Oscar feels Mayweather is the more talented of the two boxers and really believes that Mayweather’s quick punch timing will be too much for the Filipino congressman.
