The 68th annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night Jan. 16, was hosted by British comedic actor Ricky Gervais and had some interesting moments as he insulted a lot of the celebrity guests in attendance such as the cast of Sex and the City 2 and saying nobody watched The Tourist starring Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, he even insulted a whole category of nominees by saying the Best Foreign Film was a category nobody cared about and took shots at Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson.
Famous Method Actor Robert De Niro was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award by Matt Damon and Robert De Niro gave a very funny and light hearted acceptance speech.
