In one of the most wonderful internet stories ever, a homeless man with a golden radio voice, was begging for change on a highway and looking for work, little did that homeless man named Ted Williams know that he would get hundreds of job offers and become a big internet sensation in the new year of 2011.
Doral Chenoweth, who worked for the Columbus Dispatch newspaper saw Williams, a former drug addict and radio announcer who claims to be 2 years sober, and decided to interview him finding his story interesting he decided to put the video up on YouTube, the film reached millions of people who were amazed with Williams voice and the video spread like wildfire.
Since the video went viral Williams has been offered jobs by the Cleveland Cavaliers, NFL Films, and many other radio stations have offered a job to the Homeless Man with the Golden Voice.
NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and MTV have all requested to interview Ted Williams, his life changed for the better over night, and it shows that good things can happen if you keep hope alive.
