The peoples champion, and Filipino boxing congressman, Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao turned 32-years-old on Friday December 17th.
The Pac-Man threw a lavish birthday party with plenty of friends, family, and politicians attending. During the birthday bash, Pacquiao gave away a car and prizes for guests through a raffle drawing.
In attendance was boxing promoter Bob Arum and Manny’s long time trainer Freddie Roach to help celebrate Manny’s birthday but also to discuss boxing business and Pacquiao’s next opponent.
It was reported by BoxingScene that Arum was able to discuss the three possible options Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez and Andre Berto with Manny while visiting him in the Philippines for his birthday celebration and Arum who will be back in Las Vegas on Monday said Pacquiao made his pick and is ready to finalize the right deal with Pacquiao’s opponent for May 7, 2011.
According to a source at Philboxing.com, the likely candidate is Shane Mosley.
