The 53rd Annual ‘Grammy Awards’ Nominations were officially announced Wednesday night December 1, 2010 at during the Grammy Awards Nomination Concert live from the Nokia Live theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The 53rd Grammy Awards air live on February 13, 2011 on CBS.
The Nominee announcement concert show was hosted by LL Cool J with performances by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and B.o.B, Miranda Lambert, and Train.
Justin Bieber was so happy being nominated for Best New Artist, Bieber will be going up against Drake, Florence & The Machine, Mumford & Sons, and Esperanza Spalding.
The leader of the pack was rap superstar Eminem (Marshall Mathers III), with 10 Grammy nominations. Eminem has already won 11 Grammy awards in the past. Others with multiple nominations include, New artist Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Jay-Z, John Legend, David Frost, Jeff Beck, B.o.B, Philip Lawrence, Katy Perry, the Roots, Zac Brown, Ari Levine, Cee Lo Green, Alex Da Kid, the Black Keys, Dirk Sobotka, Rihanna, and Drake.
