Like legendary boxing announcer Micheal Buffer says before each big HBO boxing event “Let’s get ready to rumble!!!!”
Tonight November 13th at the extraordinary house that Jerry Jones built for his NFL football team the Dallas Cowboys, the peoples champion Manny “The Pac-Man” Pacquiao takes on the bad guy of boxing the disgraced Antonio “Tijuana Tornado” Margarito of Mexico for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title.
Pacquiao weighed in at 144 pounds way below the agreed 150 pounds catchweight limit, while Margarito weighed in at 150 pounds giving him a huge size advantage come fight night.
Pacquiao wants to rely on his speed but Margarito feels Pacquiao won’t be able to last because he has fought fast guys in the past and beat them with his pressure and punching power.
Margarito balked at the comments when asked about how he could handle Manny Pacquiao’s power, Margarito doesn’t believe the Filipino congressman has the power to hurt him and it will be an easy fight for him because of his size.
Many wonder if the winner of this fight will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a future match, but with Floyd’s court case looming and the possibility of heading to jail that fight is up in the air and remains a mystery.
