Filipino politician and boxing sensation, Manny “The Pac-Man” Pacquiao, is only a few days away from his HBO pay per view fight with Mexico’s Antonio Margarito at Cowboys football stadium in Texas on November 13, but Sunday night he will be featured on the long running CBS newsmagazine show “60 Minutes”.
Bob Simon, covered Manny Pacquiao in this segment and followed Manny around the Philippines during his campaign for political office and up to his training for the Antonio Margarito fight. Pacquiao has his trainer Freddie Roach and plenty of boxing fans worried that he isn’t taking his upcoming fight seriously and is more focused on politics.
Also featured on tonight’s 60 Minutes is and interview with United States President Barack Obama discussing Tax cuts, and Newton, Iowa: Anger in the Heartland a town hit hard by the recession.
