In a shocking report by Geno McGahee of RingsideReport.com, the “Pac-man” Manny Pacquiao was reportedly stunned badly against young British champion Amir Khan in sparring that the session had to be stopped so Pacquiao could regain his composure.
Here is a quote from Geno McGahee’s article:
“According to an inside source, Pacquiao was controlled and stunned so badly by Amir Khan in training that the sparring session was halted after just three rounds. Roach had a heated discussion with his prize fighter where he reportedly told him that he was “going to lose” if he didn’t get his head together.” (Source)
This is not good news for Pacquiao since he will be facing his toughest and the biggest opponent of his career in Antonio Margarito on November 13. There were already reports swirling around the web and on HBO 24/7 that Manny isn’t taking his training seriously and doesn’t have the hunger or desire to train had like before. Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach, who also trains Amir Khan, said Pacquiao told him he misses his congressional job in the Philippines and doesn’t consider boxing his top priority like he once did.
The November 13 mega showdown at the Dallas Cowboys stadium between Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito is only a few short weeks away and if the reports are true, Manny Pacquiao will be in for one tough challenge with the in shape and determined Margarito, who is ready to pull off the upset that could derail the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao super-fight.
