Lawyers for pro golfer Tiger Woods announced today that the divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren has been finalized as reported by the Associated Press.
The terms of the divorce settlement were not revealed, however, Nordegren won’t receive the rumored $750 million, but it will definitely be a significant amount of money and one of the main concerns was child custody, which have been worked out and reports claim that Woods will reportedly have custody of their two children for at least one weekend a month, and possibly for longer periods.
Many blame his multiple scandalous affairs and divorce proceedings as the cause of Tigers recent poor outings at various golfing tournaments this year, and the divorce being finalized has taken off part of that burden and pressure and hopefully Woods will bounce back on the golf course.

The former couple released a joint statement, “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” the couple remained cordial and will now focus on their two children. “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
Woods’s All American media image has been permanently damaged and people question if his golf career will ever be the same after the scandals.
