The famous New York Yankees owner, George Steinbrenner III, passed away this morning after suffering a massive heart attack, he was 80.
On the morning of the big MLB All-Star game in Anaheim the iconic baseball owner suffered a massive heart attack and was taken to a Tampa, Florida hospital where he later passed away.
Steinbrenner was famous for being one of the most opinionated owners in the league and known for his love-hate relationship with late Yankee coach Billy Martin, a man he fired multiple times and rehired multiple times. George Steinbrenner was also known for being George Constanza’s boss on the hit TV-sitcom “Seinfield.”
