Amy Locane-Bovenizer famous for he roles as Sandy in the TV series “Melrose Place” and her role as Allison the love interest of Johnny Depp’s character in the movie “Crybaby” was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide after a Sunday night car crash in Montgomery, New Jersey where the passenger in the vehicle she hit died.
According to the New Jersey Ledger, when officers arrested her they noticed her eyes were glassy and blood shot and smelled alcohol on her breath. Locane, 38, later admitted to the police that she had been drinking wine before the fatal car crash.
Locane’s 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the passenger side of a 2010 Mercury Milan as the other vehicle was turning into a driveway. The two passengers were Helen and Fred Seeman, Helen who was in the passenger side was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the Milan, Fred Seeman, is in the hospital in critical condition.

She is currently acting in a play called “Miss Connections” at the borough’s Off-Broadstreet Theatre, which held a matinee showing on Sunday.
If Locane is convicted she would serve 10 years in state prison.
