The popular ABC news show 20/20 was able to get an exclusive interview of a young woman named Melody Granadillo who dated Joran van der Sloot in 2003 before the 2005 Natalee Holloway situation.
In this interview Melody shares a different side of Joran, she considers him a caring and romantic guy, she also kept in touch with Joran up till the day her murdered a Peruvian girl in his hotel room on May 30, 2010.
Dutch accused murderer, Joran van der Sloot is currently being held in a Peruvian prison for the murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramírez, a murder he admits to doing. Stephany’s father was a popular race car driver from Peru.Van der Sloot first became notorious as a key suspect in the disappearance of American student Natalee Holloway when she went on a trip to Aruba but never came back home. Although van der Sloot was the key suspect in Holloway’s death/disappearance he was never convicted of it.
